TAN Lab doctoral student Samin Ashjaei presented findings on regional brain atrophy and speech-in-noise recognition at the SC Statewide Aging and Alzheimer’s Symposium.

ASHA Convention Visionary Session Award

Collaborative work on age-related hearing loss, phonological working memory, and cognitive decline received a 2024 ASHA Convention Visionary Session Award.

Meritorious Poster recognition

A TAN Lab collaborative poster on child vocalizations, child-directed speech, and caregiver responsiveness in home environments of children with cochlear implants was recognized as a Meritorious Poster Submission.
